Have you tried something new lately? Challenge yourself to grow this year by sharing your goals with others!

Learn a new skill

Have you wanted to take a virtual cooking class, try out a new crafting skill, or take an e-course on a topic you love? Maximize your potential by trying something brand new to you! You’ll never know what’s around the corner until you take the first step.

Move your body

We all have different abilities and only you know what you’re capable of! Commit to moving your body in any way you are able by taking an online dance class from the comfort of your living room, or simply committing to get up from your desk once an hour to remain active throughout the workday. Stretch yourself physically or mentally, only you know what you need the most.

Try a new recipe

Whether you’re an amateur cook or the next Top Chef, the potential is there to unlock new possibilities in your home kitchen. Make a fun meal for a friend or try that recipe from Pinterest you’ve been dreaming about (we all have one). And if you’re not interested in cooking, try ordering a drink at your friendly neighborhood Scooter’s that you wouldn’t typically order (our baristas love to make recommendations).

Get out of your comfort zone

Stuck in a rut? Try switching up your daily routine! Take yourself out to lunch, DJ a silly dance party for your kids, and look for ways to say YES to things instead of no, if they’ll help you grow as a person. Yes, even if they’re hard. If it feels like the good kind of uncomfortable, you’re on the right track.

You can help

Watch for calls to action in your community and see how you can contribute. Whether it’s something big, like building a freestanding community pantry in your neighborhood, or something small, like cleaning out your closet and donating gently used items to those in need, there are opportunities out there that are a great fit for you.
